With all the packed and ready-to-go foods and beverages coming up in the market and also this fast and furious lifestyle, gastric problems becoming very common in all ages of people. Even the young generation is also facing and complaining about it. The gastric problem is directly related to our eating habits and our daily lifestyle.

Oats, barley, and quinoa are also nutritious options. If you do not eat wheat, avoid pasta alternatives or bread made from corn, which is not approved for a gastritis diet.

Desserts:

Well, desserts are everyone’s favourite but it may results in more trouble for gastritis patient. Any food that is high in fat and sugar should be avoided on the gastritis diet. Baked goods, pastries, and ice cream or puddings tend to be rich and can irritate an inflamed stomach and increase the gastric issue more and more leading to some serious damage (especially if they are made with dairy). Chocolate is also not approved, I know it’s favourite but you will have to avoid it as much as possible.

Dairy:

Research shows that people will gastric problems can less tolerate dairy products, it increases their problem and also many dieticians do not approve dairy products in gastritis diet. You’ll want to avoid full-fat dairy products, but can go for low-fat yogurt that’s also low in sugar and packed with probiotics. Some hard cheeses that are low in salt may be tolerated in small portions. You’ll want to avoid any sauces, fillings, or puddings made with rich, heavy cream.
